I'm sorry to report that I have had to remove the Mercer Girls web pages.
Over 25 years ago I started collecting primary and secondary sources which give details about the lives of these ladies.
I found them to be fascinating women with wonderful life stories.
Others asked me to share the information I had gathered so I published the Mercer Girls web pages.
Unfortunately there are those that want to publish the material I have spent so much time and energy gathering and claim
my work as their own research. So for now I have removed the information from the web.
